  • If the customer wishes the jeans to be delivered earlier than the stipulated time, it is not a guarantee that we can. Custom made jeans use a bit of science beyond the regular garmenting and tailoring process and have to be suitably laundered before delivery. This takes a lot of extra time and cannot be expedited.
  • Bespoke jeans will not resemble a ready to wear jeans in the overall fit when looked at. Please be wary of wanting the jeans to resemble an off the shelf product.
  • IML does not and will not copy a design given by the customer. We value the designs and IP of all clothiers and so will not indulge in copyright/trademark infringement.
  • IML does not do CMT upon given a fabric. We have our own collection designed using certain fabrics.
  • Italian finishing refers to the origin and manufacture of the treatment.
  • Organic jeans refer to the fabric which uses organic cotton and dyes.
  • Italian leather trims refer to the known Italian leather finishing prowess on fine quality genuine leather.

  • Deliveries can fluctuate due to fabric shortages or due to delays in transit. In this case we shall inform you of that same.
  • Jeans undergo tremendous usage. It is hence in the best interest to choose fabrics that are heavier and hence last longer. Lighter fabrics have a lower shelf life and wearing them regularly will make them fade faster.
  • Pilling is a common phenomenon on all fabrics and will happen with wear and tear.
  • When wearing a cotton/stretch fabric, some expansion happens during the day. To bring them back to size, just wash them in cold water.
  • Do not put your jeans (or any tailor-made garment for that matter) in the washing machine. It will completely destroy the fit and quality of the product. It is preferable to lightly cold wash your jeans by hand or do a cold rinse cycle in the washing machine.
  • For our ultra special cashmere, silk, hand-loom cotton, linen or special fabrics, please only use the delicate cycle or give to a trusted dry-cleaner.
